Mains-born noise, harmonics and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from neighboring residences and industry as well as radiated electrical interference within the home from electrical appliances, fluorescent lighting, computers, etc. have a degrading effect on the sound of your audio system. This interference is outside the audible range, but its energy modulates audio circuits, resulting in distortion in the audible band. Although at an extremely low level, this intermittent noise pollution is a foreign intrusion unrelated to the audio signal and is therefore perceived as more insidiously degrading.

Assembled from three braided bundles of individually insulated conductors with a proprietary passive network in the IEC socket, Gryphon Online Mk. II creates the clearest possible electrical pathway between the wall socket and your audio components. By rejecting interference, Gryphon Online Mk. II removes layers of grain and harshness, reduces sibilant smearing and reveals previously hidden detail and ambient information.
