A wide variety of devices can be connected to the VSXLX50. The receiver features a myriad of connectors including 2 HDMI inputs, 3 sets of component video inputs and 4 optical and 2 coaxial digital audio inputs. The VSXLX50 is also HD ready and will handle 1080p video. Decoding of HD audio is no problem either as, apart from Dolby Digital and DTS, the VSXLX50 will also decode both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The VSXLX50 is also THX certified, a guarantee of reference audio!
