The DVR-550HX-S has a built in digital tuner (SD) and contains a 160GB Hard Disc Drive that can hold up to 455 hours of recorded content.
It also features a HDMI connection, capable of upscaling video content to 1080p.
The HDMI CEC compatibility allows for single remote operation and is compatible with other Pioneer HDMI CEC devices. The DVR-550HX-S will also record and play back all type of recordable DVD media
