The Audio Note IQ cartridges are a refinement of the established Moving Magnet design principle, they use a highly rigid Pocan™ body shell and have detachable head shell to facilitate easy change or upgrade of stylus assembly. The coils on all IQ cartridges are made from fine copper wire, the wire is so thin that it is not possible to use silver which cannot be drawn to this thin a guage. The IQIII uses the same cantilever and diamond as the Audio Note IoI moving coil cartridge, it is unique in that it is made from titanium tube rather than aluminium These IQ range of magnetic cartridges offer an excellent combination of exceptional tracking ability, dynamic range and great longevity due to the extremely high quality of the diamond and cantilever used.
