This digital converteris available in stainless steel or in black. It has three function switches on its golden brass front plate : for turning on, for absolute phase inversion and for switching sources.
The power supply is assured by two moulded EI-type transformers. The conversion board contains a Cristal SPDIF decoder ref. CS8412, and a digital/analog converter fCS4328 functioning in sigma/delta mode in 18-bit resolution with internal digital filtering. The tube output board consists of two ECC 82 double triodes a nd the clock is of the highest quality. The greatest innovation in this unit lies in the fact that it is equipped with a "bus", allowing it to receive optional moduls (digital filtering with DSP, HDCD decoder).
Furthermore, during the development of this converter, we specifically chose to minimise the jitter effect and to limit the radiation influence of the digital circuits on the analog section. This latter point is important in that it enables us to respect the restrictions imposed for the electronmagnetic compatibility of electronic products.
Towards this end, we are equipped with a laboratory to ensure conformity to the EC Labelling norms. The JS-2, as with all our products is in complete conformity with these norms.
