The SCLX83 is able to decode the latest HD audio formats and supports x.v.Colour and Deep Colour for vibrant, lifelike colours with smooth gradient transitions. With the latest HDMI version 1.4a, it’s also ready for 3D content and capable of providing an Audio Return Channel via HDMI from a flat panel to the SCLX83. Standard definition video sources are upscaled to 1080p (HD) and can be output as film quality images in 1080/24p resolution (to displays accepting this video quality).
A central driving force for all your digital media, the SCLX83 expands your entertainment zones in the home with the ability to play two different audio/video sources into three difference living areas at the same time. Moreover, there is also multi-zone video support for an iPod/iPhone.
The SCLX83 steps-up from previous Pioneer AV receivers on many fronts, including extensive control possibilities. Supplied with an IR Learning remote and featuring RS232 and IR inputs on the rear of the AV receiver, control capabilities include an optional RF remote control (CURF100) to control the AV receiver when it's not in your direct line of site, Pioneer's iControlAV application, as well as Web Browsing Control (IP Control).
